Its Engineering segment is involved in engineering activities for steel structures, industrial machines, energy and environment, recycling, and electricity retailing sectors. The Trading segment purchases, processes, and distributes steel products, raw materials for steelmaking, nonferrous metal, food, and other products. The company was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Chiyoda, Japan.
