Titan Mining selected by U.S. Army for first-ever critical minerals processing partnership on defense installations

Titan Mining Corporation has received conditional selection notices from the U.S. Army for Enhanced Use Lease opportunities at Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas and Anniston Army Depot in Alabama, marking the first commercial graphite purification facility to be sited on U.S. military installations. The wholly-owned subsidiary Empire State Mines will design, finance, build, and operate the Kilbourne Graphite Purification Plant at no cost to taxpayers, with Pine Bluff Arsenal designated as the primary site on approximately 245 acres and Anniston Army Depot as a secondary site on about 97 acres. The awards, issued under President Trump's Executive Order 14241, aim to challenge China's more than 90% control of global battery-grade graphite processing and end America's 100% import reliance on foreign-controlled graphite supply chains. The lease term can extend up to 50 years under the Enhanced Use Lease authority, with construction targeted to begin in the second half of 2027. Titan Mining is an existing zinc concentrate producer and the only end-to-end producer of natural flake graphite in the United States.
