Titan Mining and RHI Magnesita sign conditional supply deal for Kilbourne graphite

Titan Mining Corporation has entered into a conditional supply agreement with global refractory leader RHI Magnesita for graphite from its Kilbourne project. The deal follows successful laboratory qualification and covers an initial volume of natural flake graphite, with the ability to expand to up to 10% of Kilbourne’s projected commercial tonnage upon successful completion of industrial-scale production trials. Titan’s President and CEO Rita Adiani called the advancement a significant milestone that validates the quality of the material and growing demand for secure North American graphite supply chains. The company is also continuing technical and engineering work as part of an ongoing feasibility study, supporting its strategy to move toward a construction decision and build a vertically integrated domestic graphite supply chain.

RHI Magnesita EBITA surges 17% on self-help measures

RHI Magnesita reported a 17% increase in adjusted EBITA to 165 million euros for the first half of 2026, driven by self-help measures that lifted the margin to 10.3%. Revenue declined 4.9% to approximately 1.6 billion euros, though it was broadly flat on a constant currency basis, with a 24 million euro foreign exchange headwind from a weaker US dollar and Indian rupee. The steel business proved resilient, with constant currency revenue up 5% and gross profit up 17%, while the industrial segment saw revenue fall 13% to 466 million euros due to a challenging projects business. Net debt rose by 33 million euros to 1.528 billion euros, with leverage stable at 2.9 times, and the company declared an unchanged interim dividend of 0.60 euros per share. Full-year guidance was confirmed, with EBITA expected to reach 435 million euros on a constant currency basis and 400 million euros on a reported basis.
