It also provides services related to water supply development, and water resource management and development for consumption, irrigation, hydropower, flood prevention and drainage, coastal engineering, and water situation forecasting. The company also offers planning, designing, project analysis and management, construction supervision, operation, and maintenance for building and infrastructure projects; and services related to building and utility systems, including real estate development projects, such as condominiums, hotels, shopping centers and mixed-use complexes, industrial estates, factories, green buildings, urban and regional planning, land development planning, buildings, and industrial estates, as well as the transit oriented development. It provides consulting services related to energy, power, oil and gas, and petroleum as well as related industries including port and utilities; in the areas of strategic management, finance and investment, accounting, marketing, project management, and project development; and in the field of geotechnical, foundation, and underground structure engineering services. The company also offers architectural planning and design, interior design, urban development, and landscape architecture services; engineering, procurement, and construction services; and asset management, and climate and sustainability services, as well as installs and manages various measurement systems. The company was incorporated in 1978 and is based in Bangkok, Thailand.

TEAMG second quarter profit jumps 29%, backlog nears 6 billion baht

Team Consulting Engineering and Management, or TEAMG, reported second quarter net profit of 61 million baht, up 29% from the same period last year, with revenue of 635 million baht, up 19%. For the first six months of 2026, the company posted total revenue of 1.266 billion baht, up 22%, and net profit of 111 million baht, up 18%. Chief Executive Officer Chavalit Chantararat said backlog at the end of the second quarter reached 5.988 billion baht, up 3% from the end of 2025, supported by the phase two construction of the new zoo project under the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand under Royal Patronage, through the RSDT Consortium joint venture, with a total contract value of 4.335 billion baht, in which the company holds a 10% stake, equivalent to 434 million baht, and construction supervision consulting for the light red line suburban railway project, Siriraj to Taling Chan to Salaya section, plus three additional stations, with a total contract value of 392 million baht, in which the company holds a 66% stake, equivalent to 258 million baht. EPC-related business expanded 114% to revenue of 495 million baht, while consulting, study, design and construction supervision for infrastructure remained the main revenue driver, with public sector work accounting for 71%. The company targets securing at least 1 billion baht in new work in the second half of the year.

TEAMG confident data centre revenue will double to 100 million baht in 2027

TEAMG expects revenue from its data centre business to double in 2027, reaching 100 million baht per year, up from around 50 million baht this year, leveraging its strengths in local area knowledge, location, and expertise in water, electricity, and the environment in Thailand. Chief Executive Officer Chawalit Chantararat revealed that the company is in talks with True Group, which plans to seek loans to invest 60 to 70 billion baht in data centres, and has partners from Hong Kong and Singapore with large-scale project expertise to enhance its capabilities. Currently, TEAMG has begun providing construction supervision and quality inspection services for a data centre project of a global company in Chonburi province, covering an area of about 100 rai with a total capacity of 86 megawatts. Meanwhile, its backlog stands at over 4 billion baht, and it aims to secure at least 1.5 billion baht in new work during the second half of 2026.

Cabinet Approves Thailand's First Big Data Strategy, Targeting 35% Economic Value Growth by 2027

The Cabinet has approved the draft Big Data Strategy for 2025 to 2027, Thailand's first such plan, which will serve as a framework to drive the use of data and artificial intelligence to enhance the economy and public administration. The target is for the economic value from big data to grow by no less than 35% by 2027 and to push Thailand into the top 25 countries globally in big data utilization. On the tax front, the government has extended the 7% value-added tax rate for another year, from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027, to ease the cost of living and stimulate spending, providing a direct boost to retail and consumer goods stocks. Digital TV operators must continue to wait for clarity. In the capital market, Stecon Group Public Company Limited, or STECON, is preparing to offer three-year bonds with an annual interest rate of 3.30% between August 3 and 5, after receiving a BBB+ rating with a stable outlook from TRIS Rating, to fund new business expansion and reduce volatility in its construction contracting business. TEAMG-led consortium wins construction supervision contract for the Light Red Line Siriraj–Taling Chan–Salaya extension worth 392 million baht

A joint venture led by TEAMG has secured the construction supervision contract for the suburban railway project on the Light Red Line, covering the Siriraj–Taling Chan–Salaya section and three additional stations, with a contract value of 392 million baht.
