NAM expects second-half growth, targets 380 million baht profit by 2028

Namwiwat Medical Corporation Public Company Limited, or NAM, expects its performance in the second half of 2026 to grow faster than the first half, supported by government budget spending and sales from overseas markets, while targeting net profit of 380 million baht by 2028. Chief Executive Officer Viroj Chaiterdkiet said during an earnings call that third-quarter 2026 revenue is expected to be higher than the second quarter of 2026, and profit margins should improve thanks to lower production costs. The company has prepared a capital expenditure budget of 150 million baht this year, comprising 40 million baht for acquisitions, 20 million baht for research and development, 20 million baht for medical service projects, 5 million baht for solar installation, and 10 million baht for installing robotic arms in the production system, as well as other projects at 5 million baht each. The company aims to increase the proportion of revenue from overseas to 10 percent within the next two to three years, from about 5 percent currently, by expanding distribution channels in Malaysia, Italy, and Indonesia.

Earnings per share for the quarter were 0.0422 baht, compared with 0.0179 baht a year earlier, and for the six-month period were 0.054 baht, compared with 0.105 baht. The auditor's report on the financial statements was unqualified.
