DOD recovers 63 million baht in deposits to bolster liquidity amid geopolitical risks
DOD Biotech Public Company Limited, or DOD, has negotiated the return of deposits and advance payments from various investment projects totaling more than 63 million baht to manage risks from the Middle East conflict and maintain financial liquidity. Ms. Suwarin Konthong, Chief Financial Officer, said the board and management reviewed investment plans for expanding production lines and acquiring assets that had been decided before the war began, and adopted proactive measures to negotiate partial refunds under contract terms with external counterparties. The company also strengthened internal controls by capping trial payment approvals at no more than 1 million baht per transaction, requiring recovery within 7 days, and reporting progress to the board every 30 days. For the second quarter of 2026, the company posted sales revenue of 122 million baht and profit attributable to the parent of 0.95 million baht amid a slowing economy.
