Bruker Shares Surge 50.3% in a Year on AI-Driven Metrology Demand

Bruker Corporation has seen its shares rise 50.3% over the past year, outpacing the industry's 42.5% gain and the S&P 500's 28.2% increase. The rally has been driven by strong growth in the BSI NANO segment, where AI-fueled demand for memory chips and advanced packaging pushed semi-metrology revenues above $300 million annually, and by market share gains in preclinical imaging, highlighted by the acceptance of an 18 Tesla preclinical MRI system in the first quarter of 2026. The company repaid $181.3 million of long-term debt, reducing the balance to $1.66 billion, and net leverage declined to 2.9 times. However, adjusted operating margin fell to 10.2% from 12.7% a year earlier, partly due to tariffs and foreign exchange, which reduced adjusted earnings per share by $0.05 in the quarter. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 earnings per share remains at $2.12, with a long-term growth rate of 14.8%.
