European stock markets rebounded after four trading days, with the STOXX Europe 600 index closing 0.78% higher at 640.87. Amid heightened tensions from the exchange of attacks between the US and Iran, tech and resource stocks led the market, with the STOXX Europe 600 Technology index up 2.76% and the Resource index up 3.28%. Meanwhile, the healthcare index fell 0.90%, and UK pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca dropped 6.2% after disappointing late-stage trial results for a co-developed neurological disease treatment. Siltronic Returns to the MDAX Index

Siltronic AG has been readmitted to the MDAX stock index as of today, following a positive development in its free-float market capitalization over recent months. The inclusion places Siltronic once again among the 50 largest publicly listed mid-cap companies in Germany, while its shares also remain a constituent of the TecDAX. CEO Dr. Michael Heckmeier called the readmission a strong vote of confidence from the capital markets in the company's strategy and long-term growth prospects, which are driven by global megatrends such as artificial intelligence. The change took effect as part of Deutsche Börse AG's regular quarterly index review, where free-float market capitalization is the key membership criterion.
