TSE second-quarter profit jumps 84 percent, advancing 229 megawatts of solar projects

Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited, or TSE, reported second-quarter net profit for 2026 of 26 million baht, up 84.4 percent from the same period last year. Gross profit was 132.1 million baht, up 22.9 percent, as cost of sales and services fell 19.9 percent and finance costs dropped 28.5 percent following loan repayments. The company is moving ahead with phases one and two of its Solar Big Lot project, with total offered capacity of 229.06 megawatts. The first phase comprises four projects totaling 30.20 megawatts, targeted for commercial operation in early 2027, while another 24 projects totaling 198.86 megawatts will come online gradually from 2028 to 2030 to build recurring income and long-term cash flow.

Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited, or TSE, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sungrow Power Supply, a leading inverter manufacturer from China, to supply solar inverters for 15 Solar Big Lot projects with a total capacity of 99.70 megawatts. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin gradually between 2027 and 2030. The first phase, currently under construction, comprises four projects totaling 30.20 megawatts and is set to start operations in early 2027. An additional 24 projects totaling 198.86 megawatts are planned for development, bringing the total capacity of the Solar Big Lot projects to 229.06 megawatts.

Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited, or TSE, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sungrow Power Supply, a global inverter manufacturer from China, to supply solar inverters for 15 Solar Big Lot projects with a total installed capacity of 99.70 megawatts, scheduled for commercial operation between 2027 and 2030. TSE's entire Solar Big Lot portfolio comprises 28 projects with a total capacity of 229.06 megawatts. Of these, the 15 projects are part of the next phase, which plans to develop an additional 24 projects with a total installed capacity of 198.86 megawatts. The first phase, consisting of 4 projects with a total installed capacity of 30.20 megawatts, is currently under construction and will gradually achieve commercial operation in early 2027. Dr. Cathleen Maleenont, CEO of TSE, stated that selecting technology partners with international standards is a key strategy, and the collaboration with Sungrow will enhance project efficiency while supporting the company's clean energy expansion goals.
