Inverter Market Set to More Than Double by 2030, New Report Finds

A new report from ResearchAndMarkets.com forecasts the global inverter market will more than double by 2030, driven by surging renewable energy and electric vehicle infrastructure investment. The study segments the market by type, including solar inverters such as central, string, microinverters, and hybrid, as well as vehicle inverters for BEV, HEV, and PHEV variants, and finds the 100-300V output voltage segment will lead due to residential and small commercial use, while the utility end-user segment will grow fastest. North America is estimated to hold the second-largest regional share, supported by US and Canadian grid modernization and clean energy incentives. Profiled companies include Huawei Technologies, Sungrow, SMA Solar Technology, Enphase Energy, and Schneider Electric.
