OGE Energy Corp Reports Q2 2026 Earnings of $0.56 Per Share and Reaffirms Guidance
OGE Energy Corp reported consolidated second-quarter 2026 earnings of $0.56 per share, up from $0.53 a year earlier, and reaffirmed its full-year earnings guidance range of $2.38 to $2.48 per share. Consolidated net income was approximately $116 million, with the electric company contributing about $120 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, while the holding company posted a loss of roughly $4 million, or $0.02 per diluted share. The company saw steady customer growth of about 1% and set an all-time peak demand record exceeding 6,800 megawatts, surpassing the prior record by 180 megawatts. OGE Energy also highlighted progress on regulatory filings including a special contract with Google and an Oklahoma large load tariff, and plans to add 550 megawatts of capacity in 2026 and another 300 megawatts in 2027. The company has completed all planned 2026 financing and is targeting a funds from operations to debt ratio of approximately 17% over the planning horizon.
