Jade Biosciences reports wider Q2 loss, expects autoimmune pipeline interim data in 2027
Jade Biosciences reported a wider net loss for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, and provided updates on its autoimmune pipeline, with interim data from multiple programs expected in 2027. The net loss widened to $55.76 million, or $0.76 per share, from $32.13 million, or $0.86 per share, a year earlier, as research and development expenses more than doubled to $50.06 million and general and administrative costs rose to $8.85 million. The company held $461.20 million in cash, cash equivalents and investments as of June 30, 2026, which it expects to fund operations into the fourth quarter of 2028, supported by a $172.5 million public offering. Jade has initiated the Phase 2 JUNIPER trial for JADE101 in IgA nephropathy, with interim data expected in 2027, and plans a registrational Phase 3 trial in the first half of 2027. Dosing has begun in a Phase 1 trial of JADE201 for rheumatoid arthritis, with biomarker-rich interim data expected in 2027, while JADE301 for dermatomyositis is set to enter a Phase 1 trial in the fourth quarter of 2026, with interim data anticipated in the second half of 2027.
