ITT Inc. benefits from strong sales and order growth amid rising costs and debt

ITT Inc. is seeing strong sales volume and order growth, with its Flow Technologies segment posting a 12.2% year-over-year organic revenue increase in the first quarter of 2026, driven by market share gains across all product categories and solid demand for pumps, valves, and aftermarket services. Acquisitions, including Svanehøj and kSARIA, contributed $151.4 million to sales in the quarter, and the company has agreed to acquire Aerospace Contacts LLC to further strengthen its supply chain and product offerings. However, operating costs surged, with cost of sales up 32.8%, sales and marketing expenses up 53.9%, and general and administrative expenses up 81.1% year over year, partly due to acquisition-related costs. ITT shares rise 6.4% after earnings beat and Aerospace Contacts acquisition

The company reported US$1.21 billion in revenue, a 32.7% year-on-year increase that exceeded analyst expectations for sales, adjusted operating income, and EPS. The Aerospace Contacts deal is intended to strengthen ITT's Connect & Control Technologies segment and deepen its exposure to aerospace and defense applications. The stock had previously fallen 10.1% after results, despite beating on revenue and EPS, and the latest news does not materially change the near-term risk around execution of large projects and M&A integration.
