A new market forecast report evaluates the commercial outlook for darovasertib, an investigational first-in-class oral PKC inhibitor for uveal melanoma, across the seven major markets through 2034. The therapy targets GNAQ and GNA11 mutations present in 85% to 90% of uveal melanoma cases, with reported monotherapy data showing a one-year overall survival rate of approximately 57% and median overall survival of about 13.2 months, compared with historical benchmarks of roughly 37% and seven months. In combination with crizotinib, Phase II findings included an objective response rate of approximately 34% and median overall survival of 21.1 months. Darovasertib has received FDA Fast Track designation for combination treatment in metastatic uveal melanoma, Breakthrough Therapy Designation for neoadjuvant uveal melanoma, and Orphan Drug Designation.
