CGI has successfully launched Mosaic, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' new cloud-based statewide financial management system, as part of the Massachusetts Business Enterprise Systems Transformation Program. Built on CGI Advantage, Mosaic replaces legacy infrastructure with a SaaS-based solution designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across government operations. The platform introduces integrated workflows, self-service capabilities, and enhanced enterprise reporting to reduce manual processes and provide greater visibility into the Commonwealth's financial ecosystem. The launch marks a major milestone in the long-standing partnership between CGI and the state, which has spanned decades of financial systems support.

CGI and NetApp have deepened their global alliance to modernize IT infrastructure and improve data management. Under the partnership, NetApp Keystone will power CGI's block storage solutions within its shared service platform, offering a subscription-based service that adapts to changing business needs and helps customers accelerate critical block workloads. The storage solution includes built-in security with real-time threat detection, protection, and recovery. The companies also plan to advance artificial intelligence across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments, aiming to help clients build an intelligent data infrastructure supported by scalable storage capabilities.

NetApp released StorageGRID 12.1 with a federated global namespace for AI workloads and announced that CGI Inc. will use NetApp Keystone for block storage solutions. The updates reinforce NetApp's AI and subscription narratives but do not fundamentally change near-term catalysts around converting AI wins into scaled deployments. The CGI Keystone expansion ties subscription-based storage to real-world AI modernization projects across hybrid clouds, which could grow higher-margin cloud revenue while also weighing on near-term cash flows if the mix shift accelerates. NetApp's narrative projects $8.3 billion in revenue and $1.7 billion in earnings by 2029, with a fair value estimate of $171.75 per share.

NetApp has released StorageGRID 12.1, introducing federated global namespaces and higher throughput to support large-scale, distributed AI operations, and expanded its global alliance with CGI to deliver intelligent data infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments. The update targets enterprises managing growing volumes of unstructured data across regions and platforms, while the broadened CGI relationship connects NetApp's storage stack with wider digital transformation and managed services projects. These developments position NetApp as a supplier of building blocks for AI training, inferencing, and data governance across private, public, and hybrid clouds.

CGI is supporting the European Space Agency's Φsat-2 mission with its Insula platform, which serves as a key enabler of artificial intelligence-driven advancements in Earth observation. Developed by CGI's team in Italy, Insula processes and harmonizes large volumes of satellite data, enabling advanced analytics such as trend detection, anomaly monitoring and predictive modelling. For the Φsat-2 mission, the platform provides calibrated and geolocated datasets to scientific communities and AI application providers. Open to the public since June 2025, Insula has enabled more than 3,000 users to access satellite mission data and delivered over 10,000 multispectral images. The Φsat-2 mission explores how AI running directly onboard can enhance Earth observation capabilities, enabling real-time functions such as cloud detection, maritime vessel detection, and fire detection for emergency response.

CGI and Entersekt have partnered to enhance 3-D Secure authentication services for issuing banks in the Nordics, aiming to strengthen fraud prevention while ensuring seamless customer experiences. This collaboration enables CGI in Norway to offer Entersekt's cloud-based 3DS Access Control Server, implementing advanced authentication technologies such as biometrics and adaptive risk-based decisioning. Norion Bank in Sweden is the first to implement this solution as part of its transition to CGI's PayPartner360 platform. The initiative emphasizes flexibility, allowing banks to adopt the 3DS solution independently of their existing card systems, thereby modernizing authentication services without significant infrastructure changes.

CGI Federal has launched an AI-powered IT modernization offering that gives federal agencies rapid insight into complex legacy systems. The offering is powered by CGI Federal's proprietary Yukon digital workforce platform and runs on Amazon Web Services. It can analyze decades of fragmented code and missing documentation to produce modernization roadmaps, software bills of materials, and impact analyses in hours instead of weeks. The company has already used the technology to modernize a mission-critical financial management system, accelerating onboarding and strengthening security.
