In addition, it is involved in sourcing and distributing raw materials and food ingredients in the beverage, dairy and non-diary, culinary and savory, confectionary and bakery, and nutraceutical. Further, the company provides high value products and sustainable products under the C12-14 Alkyl Benzoate and Biosovell brand names. The company was formerly known as Thai Oleochemicals Company Limited. The company was incorporated in 2005 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. Global Green Chemicals Public Company Limited is a subsidiary of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited.

GGC reports first-half profit of 448 million baht, boosted by 28% surge in B100 demand

Global Green Chemicals Public Company Limited, or GGC, reported first-half 2026 operating results with a profit of 448 million baht, supported by government policy that adjusted the biodiesel blending ratio from B5 to B7 effective 14 March 2026. This drove domestic demand for methyl ester, or B100, up by 28% in the second quarter. The methyl ester business saw higher sales revenue on recovering demand, while the fatty alcohol business continued to improve production efficiency by changing catalysts to increase capacity and reduce maintenance downtime. As for financial position, as of 30 June 2026, the company had total assets of 11.086 billion baht, up 7% from the end of 2025, and held cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments totaling over 2.332 billion baht, reflecting strong liquidity and readiness to support new investments in the future.

GGC Welcomes Industry Minister to Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex, Pushing Bio Hub to Boost Thai Economy

Global Green Chemicals Public Company Limited, or GGC, welcomed Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, on the occasion of his visit to observe the progress of the Nakhon Sawan Biocomplex project in Nakhon Sawan Province on July 22, 2026. The project is operated by GGC KTIS Bio-Industrial Company Limited, or GKBI, a joint venture between GGC and Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation Public Company Limited, or KTIS. The development is divided into two phases, both of which are now in commercial operation. Phase 1 comprises a sugar cane crushing mill, an ethanol plant, and a biomass power plant, which began commercial operations in the first quarter of 2024. Phase 2 involves the development of utilities and infrastructure to support the polylactic acid bioplastics plant of NatureWorks Asia Pacific Company Limited, a subsidiary of NatureWorks LLC, with commercial services commencing in the fourth quarter of 2025. The project aims to add value to agricultural products, elevate them to high-value bio-industry, and support Thailand's bio-economy, circular economy, and green economy.
