Factorial and SK On sign MoU for solid-state battery manufacturing
US-based Factorial Energy and Korea's SK On have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to evaluate manufacturing synergies for solid-state batteries. The partnership will assess whether SK On's global lithium-ion battery production network, which exceeds 200 GWh of annual capacity including roughly 100 GWh in the United States, can support Factorial's FEST solid-state battery technology.
