Donnelley Financial Solutions Stock Could Be 26.1% Undervalued After AI Filing Launch

Donnelley Financial Solutions has introduced an AI-powered iXBRL tagging capability for SEC filings, integrated into its Arc Suite and managed services as part of its Active Intelligence strategy. The stock last closed at $39.14, and the most followed narrative points to a fair value of $63, implying a 26.1% discount. This valuation is built on detailed earnings and margin forecasts, supported by a secular shift toward digitalization and growth in recurring software products. However, the stock has fallen 16.65% over 90 days and 34.56% over one year, while the five-year total shareholder return remains positive at 18.14%. Key risks include continued print revenue declines and prolonged weakness in capital markets deal volumes.
