Amata VN Public Company Limited, or AMATAV, reported second-quarter 2026 net profit of 394.22 million baht, up 346.69 percent from the same period last year. The main driver was a gain of 442 million baht from the disposal of its investment in Amata Service City Long Thanh 2 Company Limited, or ASCLT2, after the transaction was completed on 20 May 2026. Total revenue came in at 1.165 billion baht, up 4.05 percent. Utility revenue was 604.82 million baht, down from the prior year, while rental revenue rose 8.62 percent to 7.37 million baht. For the first half of 2026, the company posted net profit of 392.53 million baht, up 320.49 percent, with net profit attributable to shareholders of 357.06 million baht, up 343.86 percent. Total revenue fell 5.51 percent to 1.874 billion baht due to lower property sales revenue, while the gross margin on land sales improved to 57.66 percent from 46.73 percent a year earlier. The company said Vietnam's economy continues to expand, with second-quarter 2026 GDP growth of 8.4 percent and registered foreign direct investment up 84.5 percent, supporting demand for Amata's industrial estate land and utilities in Vietnam. It is also moving ahead with developing its estates into a carbon neutral city by 2040.
