Yitai B Shares to invest 279 million yuan in industrial fund targeting Jiuling Lithium

Yitai B Shares plans to invest 279 million yuan to jointly establish an industrial fund with Guotai Haitong Kaiyuan, specifically targeting Jiuling Lithium. The fund has a total size of 310 million yuan, with Yitai B Shares as a limited partner holding 90 percent, and Guotai Haitong Kaiyuan as the general partner and fund manager holding 10 percent. The fund is a single-asset fund, investing by acquiring shares from existing shareholders of Jiuling Lithium, with the capital not entering the company itself. Jiuling Lithium had voluntarily withdrawn its IPO application in April 2026, and in 2024 it achieved revenue of 4.38 billion yuan and net profit of 1.171 billion yuan. Market analysts note that this secondary share transfer may provide liquidity for some early financial investors, while Yitai, a leading coal enterprise, is entering the scene with the intention of laying out upstream resources in the new energy sector.
