Shell has signed a new Enterprise Framework Agreement with Chiyoda Corporation, making the Japanese engineering firm a partner for future engineering and procurement support across global energy projects. The agreement allows Shell Global Solutions International to engage Chiyoda quickly through a pre-established structure, reducing administrative lead time and enabling faster mobilization of engineering teams. Built on more than five decades of cooperation, the partnership aims to improve project execution, accelerate development timelines, and increase flexibility across LNG, conventional energy, and low-carbon sectors. The framework enhances coordination between engineering, procurement, and project teams, supporting earlier engagement and parallel progress of technical decisions, procurement planning, and design activities. Chiyoda brings extensive experience in large-scale energy infrastructure, including LNG facilities, petrochemical plants, refineries, hydrogen systems, and carbon capture projects.
