China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. engages in the investment, construction, operation, and management of nuclear power projects in the People's Republic of China. It is involved in the heat production and supply; nuclear, new energy, and other power generation; Nuclear energy utilization and development; and provision of technical services. As of December 31, 2025, it operated 26 nuclear power units with an installed capacity of 25,000,000 kilowatts; controls 19 nuclear power units with an installed capacity of 21,859,000 kilowatts; and 10,626,800 kilowatts of wind power and 23,014,200 kilowatts of photovoltaic power, as well as holds controlling stakes in independent energy storage power stations of 1,651,000 kilowatts. The company was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China. China National Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. operates as a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation.

State Council Approves Four Nuclear Power Projects with Estimated Investment Exceeding 170 Billion Yuan

The State Council executive meeting decided to approve four nuclear power projects, including the first phase of Liaoning Zhuanghe, totaling eight new units with an overall investment expected to surpass 170 billion yuan. The approved projects include the second phase of Zhejiang Jinqimen Nuclear Power, the third phase of Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power, the first phase of Liaoning Zhuanghe Nuclear Power, and the first phase of Shandong Laiyang Nuclear Power, all being the first batch of nuclear projects approved during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. A single domestically produced million-kilowatt third-generation nuclear unit requires an investment of about 20 billion yuan, and the 170 billion yuan direct investment can drive a total output of approximately 500 billion yuan across related industrial chains. China National Nuclear Power announced that its Liaoning Zhuanghe Units 1 and 2 and Zhejiang Jinqimen Units 3 and 4 have been approved, all adopting Hualong One technology. In other news, Amazon shares surged 15.2 percent, with cloud business revenue growth hitting an 18-quarter high; Fullhan Microelectronics expects first-half net profit to rise by 1,073 percent to 1,420 percent year-on-year; and stock ETFs saw a net inflow of nearly 480 billion yuan in July, setting a monthly record.

China Nuclear Power Approved to Build Four Nuclear Units at Liaoning Zhuanghe and Zhejiang Jinqimen

China Nuclear Power announced that, following deliberation at a State Council executive meeting, it has been decided to approve Units 1 and 2 of the Liaoning Zhuanghe nuclear power project and Units 3 and 4 of the Zhejiang Jinqimen nuclear power project. The company's subsidiaries, CNNC Datang Zhuanghe Nuclear Power Company and CNNC Xiangshan Nuclear Energy Company, will serve as the owner entities responsible for project investment, construction, and operation management. Both projects will each construct two Hualong One pressurized water reactor nuclear units in the current phase, and preparations prior to construction are progressing in an orderly manner.

Multiple Companies on Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges Announce Positive News: Mentech Optical & Magnetic Plans Private Placement to Raise Up to 1.283 Billion Yuan

On the evening of July 31, several listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges issued important positive announcements. Mentech Optical & Magnetic plans to issue shares to specific investors to raise no more than 1.283 billion yuan for projects including intelligent manufacturing of high-speed optical modules. Hongqiao Holdings plans a private placement to raise up to 12 billion yuan for wind power, photovoltaic, and aluminum deep processing projects. GigaDevice plans to repurchase shares worth 1 billion to 2 billion yuan and cancel them to reduce registered capital. Fullhan Microelectronics expects its net profit attributable to the parent company in the first half of 2026 to increase by 1,072.72% to 1,420.19% year-on-year. China National Nuclear Power's Liaoning Zhuanghe nuclear power project Units 1 and 2, and Zhejiang Jinqimen nuclear power project Units 3 and 4, have been approved by the State Council executive meeting. In addition, Southern Network Technology plans to acquire 100% equity of Yueneng Power for 445 million yuan, Shanghai Shineway plans to invest in the industrialization project of solid-liquid hybrid battery cells and solid electrolyte powder, and Inventronics announced that starting September 1, prices of some products will be raised by about 5% to 15% overall.
