Huayu Mining General Manager Chen Xu Resigns as First-Quarter Revenue and Net Profit Both Decline
Huayu Mining General Manager Chen Xu has resigned from the position of general manager due to personal reasons, and will no longer hold any position in the company or its subsidiaries. Earlier, on June 3, board secretary Li Xiang also resigned for personal reasons. In the first quarter of 2026, Huayu Mining achieved revenue of 222 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 15.12 percent, and net profit attributable to the parent company of 30.5576 million yuan, down 33.07 percent year-on-year. The company recently completed a change in controlling shareholder, with Wanyang Qixin acquiring an 11.00 percent stake from the original controlling shareholder Daoheng Investment through a negotiated transfer, and the actual controller changed to Lu Junliang. As of the close on August 11, Huayu Mining shares traded at 22.66 yuan per share, with a total market value of 18.58 billion yuan, and the share price has fallen 15.38 percent this year.
