In the morning session of the Tokyo stock market on July 30, game and entertainment-related stocks were mostly under selling pressure, with 36 of the 99 registered issues rising and 51 falling. Mobile game developer Aiming fell for a third straight day as investors reacted negatively to the previous day's announcement of a double-digit decline in both revenue and profit for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2026. Meanwhile, reports emerged that Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities upgraded Toho from Equal-weight to Overweight and raised its target price from 1,600 yen to 1,800 yen.
