2026 World Robot Conference to be held; multiple listed companies disclose robotics plans

The 2026 World Robot Conference will be held from August 19 to 23, 2026, alongside the World Robot Expo and the World Robot Contest. ThunderSoft said its full range of mobile robot products includes core offerings such as latent mobile robots, forklift robots, and composite and embodied robots. In January 2026, its subsidiary Hangzhou Xiaowu Intelligent Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, and the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation on the large-scale application of humanoid robots in vertical scenarios such as automobile manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, and commercial services. OGAWA said the company is accelerating its embodied intelligence business layout and exploring scenario-based application implementation of health service robots in vertical fields. Ningbo Huaxiang said its subsidiary Huaxiang Qiyuan will have a booth at the World Robot Conference to showcase its latest bipedal and quadruped robot bodies as well as lightweight joint components and skeletal parts. Bojay Electronics said that in response to the needs of humanoid robots for electronic eye observation, electronic skin tactile sensing, and microphone sound reception, it has developed testing technologies adapted to humanoid robot cameras, force sensors, and microphones.
