Typhoon Bavi Strikes Anhui; Four Listed Companies in Chizhou Say Operations Largely Unaffected

Due to Typhoon Bavi, many A-level scenic spots in Chizhou, Anhui were closed, and construction sites, ferry crossings, docks, and industrial and mining enterprises were shut down. However, the four local A-share listed companies — Tongguan Copper Foil, Jiuhua Tourism, ActBlue, and Huaertai — all stated that their production and operations were not significantly affected. A source at Tongguan Copper Foil said production is proceeding normally. The company is the largest listed company in Chizhou by market value, with a total market capitalisation of nearly 100 billion yuan. Jiuhua Tourism said its hotels are operating normally, but the Jiuhua Mountain scenic area was closed to the public on 13 July and is expected to reopen on the 14th. Securities department representatives at ActBlue and Huaertai also separately confirmed that production and operations are normal, with Huaertai saying it was not much affected by the typhoon.
