In addition, the company offers aviation engineering technical support, customer service, technical information, user training, and aircraft parts support. The company was formerly known as AVIC Aircraft Co., Ltd. The company was incorporated in 1997 and is based in Xi'an, China.

AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group released its 2026 half-year report, achieving operating revenue of 14.186 billion yuan, down 26.94% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 490 million yuan, down 28.91% year on year. The company plans no interim cash dividend, no bonus shares, and no conversion of capital reserve into share capital. AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group Plans Private Placement for Military and Civil Aircraft Development and Capacity Expansion

AVIC Xi'an Aircraft Industry Group announced that it is planning a private placement of A-shares to specific investors. The issuance will not result in a change of controlling shareholder or actual controller. The funds raised are intended for projects including military and civil aircraft development and capacity expansion, after-sales services, international subcontracting capacity enhancement, and production capacity improvement for aerospace composite materials and metal structural components. The number of shares to be issued will not exceed 30 percent of the total share capital before the issuance.
